Job Duties
The people must possess the following;
- Planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to seasonal schedules.
- Feeding and caring for livestock such as cows, chickens
- Also, harvest crops & hand-harvesting vegetables
- Operating tractors and farm machinery for tasks like plowing, seeding, and spraying
- Irrigating fields and monitoring soil moisture to ensure healthy crop growth.
- Cleaning barns, pens, and animal shelters to maintain hygiene and prevent disease.
- Sorting and packing produce for shipment or local markets.
- Repairing fences, gates, and farm structures as needed.
- Monitoring animals for signs of illness or injury and reporting concerns.
- Mixing and applying fertilizers or pesticides under supervision.
